Jeanne Beatrix Law (Writing)

Dr. Jeanne Beatrix Law is a professor of English at Kennesaw State University whose research and teaching center on generative AI, writing studies, and ethical prompt engineering. She developed the Rhetorical Prompting Method and the Ethical Wheel of Prompting, integrating them into courses, public scholarship, and keynote talks to help writers across disciplines use AI as a process-based, human-led tool. Her work—featured in The Conversation, The Chronicle of Higher Education, on Macmillan Education's Bits on Bots blog series, several edited collections from academic presses, and in eight Coursera courses—emphasizes mindful, accountable AI use that supports creativity, clarity, and student success.
