Carlos Castañeda (Counseling and Guidance)

Dr. Carlos Castañeda, PhD, LPC, NCC, is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at St. Edward’s University, owner of The Missing Peace Clinic, a practice providing counseling and assessment services to neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, and founder of ThinkAITA LLC, a company that designs AI Therapeutic Adjuncts™ for clients and Continuity Care AI™ for providers to support both between sessions. Dr. Castañeda specializes in integrating AI Teaching Adjuncts into mental health education to enhance skill development, cultural responsiveness, and accessibility for diverse learners. His work includes the creation of AI Teaching Adjuncts that provide realistic client simulations for training future mental health professionals, as well as a recently published study on AI Therapeutic Adjuncts™ to help autistic adults between their counseling sessions.
