As AI becomes an increasingly visible presence in classrooms, many educators are asking the same question: How do I use these tools thoughtfully, effectively, and in ways that actually help my students and my work?
Our newest course for K–12 educators is designed to meet teachers exactly where they are — whether they’re just beginning to explore ChatGPT or looking to use it more intentionally in their day-to-day practice. Built specifically for teachers, this practical, introductory course focuses on real classroom and administrative workflows, not abstract theory. Across short, hands-on modules, teachers learn the essentials of how ChatGPT works, how to navigate and personalize the tool, and how to apply it to everyday tasks like lesson planning, communication, rubric creation, and student support. The course emphasizes how to work with AI — writing and refining effective prompts, reviewing outputs critically, and adapting examples to fit each teacher’s unique context.
This course focuses heavily on grounding in real practice. Educators will see step-by-step demonstrations, ready-to-use examples, and classroom workflows drawn from experienced teachers. Rather than prescribing one “right” way to use AI, the course encourages professional judgment, creativity, and adaptation — recognizing that every classroom, subject area, and group of students is different.
Throughout the course, responsible AI use is a central theme. Teachers are guided to respect data privacy, human oversight, and place school policies front and center, building confidence not just in using AI, but in using it well.
By the end, educators leave with practical skills they can apply immediately — from navigating and personalizing ChatGPT, to using a clear prompting framework, to confidently integrating AI into their daily routines in ways that save time and support student learning.
