This fall, the OpenAI Edu Academy is bringing together voices from classrooms around the world. More than 300 professors submitted stories of how they are using AI in teaching. From that pool, we selected stand-out professors from 30+ disciplines and institutions across the globe to share their strategies and vision.
The result is a speaker series that captures the breadth of how AI is already reshaping education. Each video is a window into a real classroom: Professors showing how AI tutors simulate patient encounters in medical schools, how custom GPTs scaffold language learning for ESL students, how AI assistants streamline feedback in engineering, or how business faculty use simulations to train the next generation of leaders.
Themes you’ll see across the series:
- Hands-on learning: From law students practicing patent interviews with AI role-plays to management students running full business simulations.
- Accessibility and equity: AI tools designed to level the playing field, whether through adaptive study guides, inclusive language coaching, or support for neurodiverse learners.
- Disciplinary transformation: Faculty in history, philosophy, communication, STEM, and the arts showcasing how AI changes what and how they teach.
- Ethics and literacy: Educators foregrounding responsible use, critical reflection, and new frameworks for academic integrity in an AI-powered era.
These aren’t abstract possibilities. They’re practical, tested methods already shaping student outcomes. The OpenAI Edu Academy is proud to feature these high-quality contributions, spotlighting a global network of educators who are reimagining what it means to teach and learn in the age of AI!
