A preliminary case study from Gulf University for Science and Technology demonstrates that VERIFY significantly improved students’ critical thinking, metacognitive skills, and academic integrity compared to a control group.

Dr. Marina Jovic (ORCID: 0000-0002-2146-3050) is an Assistant Professor at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in Kuwait, where she teaches academic writing and linguistics. Her research focuses on pragmatics, ESL studies, and the integration of large language models into academic contexts. She has published and presented on AI in education, critical thinking development, and feedback in academic writing.
