ChatGPT Edu 102 for K-12

Build on the fundamentals introduced in ChatGPT Edu 101 and explore how ChatGPT can support more involved work across teaching, school leadership, professional learning, and district operations. This live session moves beyond a single prompt to demonstrate how educators and staff can work through multistep tasks, use approved files and source materials, and develop more effective, repeatable workflows.

The OpenAI Education team will also demonstrate agentic capabilities, including ChatGPT Work and Workspace Agents where those features are available in the district’s workspace. Participants will see how these tools can support research, meeting preparation, professional-learning follow-up, communications, implementation planning, and other recurring responsibilities while keeping people in control of important decisions.

In this session, you’ll learn how to:

• Improve results through follow-up prompts, added context, and iterative review.

• Use approved files and source materials to ground work in relevant information.

• Break larger assignments into manageable steps and build repeatable workflows.

• Explore how ChatGPT Work can support longer tasks and finished deliverables.

• Understand how Workspace Agents can assist with structured, recurring processes.

• Apply human review, appropriate permissions, and district-specific responsible-use expectations.

Attendance at ChatGPT Edu 101 or equivalent familiarity with ChatGPT is recommended. Specific tools and features may vary based on district workspace settings and administrator permissions.

This session will be recorded and made available to participants who cannot attend live. A second offering covering the same material is scheduled for September 10; participants only need to attend one 102 session.
