Yvette has also worked in nonprofits as a Program Director for a workforce development organization and Chief Strategy Officer for an early childhood development organization. The focus of her career has always been about access, opportunity and growth for people.

Yvette holds a Masters of Education from Loyola Marymount University and Bachelors of Development Studies from UC Berkeley. In her free time, she enjoys exploring life through the eyes of her 9-year old twins.
