OpenAI Academy: Future Skills for India

Scaling AI Literacy in partnership with India AI and MeitY

Join us for a landmark evening in New Delhi as we launch OpenAI Academy in partnership with the IndiaAI Future Skills Mission, a national digital skilling initiative led by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).This event marks the formal start of OpenAI’s education and AI literacy programs in India. Together with IndiaAI, we're working to equip the next generation of students, developers, and mission-driven organizations with the tools and training they need to build responsibly with AI.

What to expect:

1. Opening remarks from senior leadership at MeitY and OpenAI, including Jason Kwon (OpenAI) and government ministers
2. Showcase of Indian innovators: startups and nonprofits using the OpenAI API to drive social and economic impact
3. Preview of OpenAI Academy India, including local language content, hands-on training, and upcoming regional workshops
4. Live demonstrations of AI tools that support safe, reliable applications in education, employment, and public service
