Skill Lab: Automating workflows

If a task happens the same way every week, month, or project cycle, it may be ready for a more repeatable AI-assisted workflow. In this hands-on lab, you will learn how to break down a recurring process before trying to automate it.

We will map the workflow from start to finish: what triggers the work, what context is needed, which tools or source materials matter, who owns each step, where approvals happen, and what a good output looks like. Then we will turn that map into a reusable workflow brief you can use to guide ChatGPT, Codex, a skill, or a workspace agent depending on what is available in your workspace.

You will leave with a practical workflow brief and a checklist for deciding what should be automated, reviewed, or kept human-led.
